Cycling is a fantastic way to explore the area. The coastal trail between Hopeman and Burghead , safe and car free, is perfect for younger children to practice their cycling skills. As a family we have spent many hours cycling along here with small children.

For bigger children there are some great cycling offerings. We enjoy cycling from the house, along the coast towards Findhorn, passing through the forest at Burghead and Roseisle. The opposite direction towards Lossiemouth is also great. The Dava Way starting in Forres, Moray Monster Trails, Culbin Sands trails, Bike Glenlivet, all offer fantastic biking opportunities. These can all be found on line. Many of the forestry commission sites have good cycling routes as well.
There is something for all abilities. Chat to the very knowledgeable guys at Outfit Moray and they can advise you on some great trails and can sort out bike hire. They have very convenient drop off and pick up in Lossiemouth.
