A Spacious Coastal Holiday Home on the Stunning Shores of the Moray Firth

My wife and I recently stayed at The Corner House with three other couples for a weekend away in Hopeman. This is the second time we've stayed there and once again, it did not fail to impress. The house is immaculate, super clean and very well appointed. The large kitchen/dining area and pool room are great places to socialise and have a laugh with friends. The house is centrally located and within easy walking distance of the local pubs, small shops and beautiful beaches. It's a great place with great hosts. We will definitely be back.

Returning customers and the house is perfect! Owners happy to help, excellent facilities and it’s so clean! We go as 4 couples and always have a great laugh. We spend most of our time at the kitchen socialising or in the pool room. The staff and locals in the Braemou, nearby pub were really welcoming. Looking forward to returning the Corner House soon.

April 2026. That's the second time 8 of us adults have had a three day break here. The last time we stayed here was 18 months ago when it was not long opened. At that time we were genuinely blown away with how nice it was. I personally was thinking before our recent visit would the standard have dropped. I needn't have worried. Nothing has changed, still immaculate. This house easily fits 8 adults and at no point did I feel I was taking turns to use the showers of which there are several or any other thing. The bedrooms are large. Ours had single beds which is no big deal for a break from fidgeting wife/husband and the mattresses are very comfy. Rooms spotless and bedding like new. The dining kitchen is enormous with a massive dining table and facilities with everything needed. All shower/toilet facilities again are spotless with no sign of deterioration from new. There's a shower cubicle just inside the entrance which can be used when coming back from the beach which only a 5 minute walk. There's also a warm outdoor shower just inside the small walked rear garden for similar. Also in the garden is a picnic table and chairs which catches the sun in the morning. There's also enough room in the house for a room with a full sized pool table which was a nice surprise and used any time it rained or at nights. Brilliant! I can't think of anything else to say about the house except I can't fault it. Well done owners. I feel I must point out that at the time of our visit there were few shops or eateries open at night so plan on maybe nipping along to Lossiemouth or Burghead for alternative eating. We will be back.

Lovely clean, spacious, well equipped house with great beach, walks and facilities nearby

The corner house is a beautifully clean place to stay. The property has all the mod cons you would expect to find. The owner is also very accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our friend had the disability requirements she asked for. It was like a home from home. The local area is beautiful and the locals are very friendly. The local pub is also as friendly with lovely food.

Beautiful house, has absolutely everything you will need! Lots of space, 3 bathrooms and 1 toilet was amazing. Couldn’t fault anything about our time here

The Corner House has the wow factor as soon as you enter the property, it is beautifully decorated with comfortable sofas to lounge on and beds to sleep in. However, you then start appreciating the attention to detail everywhere, from having plenty of kitchen equipment to accommodate a group of ten, to the books ageing from 0 to 100, there was something for everyone, the warm shower in the courtyard is perfect to wash down after a day on the beach. Having the pool room and the array of board games to entertain us, as a family of 6 adults and one 20 month old, meant that we had a very relaxed stay at this property. Hopeman has its own charm, and to stay in this fantastic property just a short walk from the harbour and beaches was truly magical.

Beautiful property. Fabulous decor and the kitchen was brilliant. Well equipped and cute little extra touches were very thoughtful - they had even put a happy birthday banner up with wine and chocolates for us!!! Plenty to do in the area which is just lovely and we have been going up to Hopeman for years. Beds were so comfy and the snooker table gave us lots of fun! Would highly recommend this beautiful property. The only possible negative would be the garden/courtyard. Not very comfy or enticing. The stones made it uncomfortable for the dogs and us and it was a little sad for us not to use it much. All in all though I'd definitely visit it again.

Fantastic well equipped house for friends and family in the centre of a friendly coastal village. Never had to go too far for quality produce from brilliant butcher to berry picking and seafood. Lovely holiday with family in a real home from home. Comfortable and had everything we needed. Thank you! We will be back.
