Stretching along Scotland’s north-east coast, the Moray Firth is one of the country’s most rewarding yet under-discovered golf regions. Combining classic Moray links, scenic Speyside courses and championship Highland golf, the area offers exceptional variety, without the crowds of more commercialised destinations. Lucky for us it is an undermarketed gem!
Located in the coastal village of Hopeman, The Corner House provides an exceptional base for Moray, Speyside and Highland golf breaks. Perfectly positioned between Inverness and Aberdeen, and just 50 minutes from Inverness Airport, our holiday home allows you to combine links golf on the Moray Firth with championship Scottish Highland courses in one memorable trip.
With an impressive 20 courses within easy reach, this is one of Scotland’s most varied and accessible regions for a golfing holiday. Travel is straightforward for UK and international golfers alike: arrive via Inverness Airport, settle in, and begin your Moray Firth golf break the same day.
Moray’s north-easterly coastal setting brings long summer evenings. Sheltered by the Cairngorms, the area enjoys a milder and drier climate than many other parts of Scotland, creating a pleasant local microclimate along the coast. The region is generally free from midges, unlike parts of Scotland’s west coast, making summer golf particularly enjoyable. Golf can be played comfortably here for much of the year, adding flexibility when planning your Moray Speyside or Highland golf break.
One of the real bonuses of staying at The Corner House is the proximity to Hopeman Golf Club, just minutes from the house.
